Job Summary: Essex Mortgage is seeking a Front End Web Developer to join our team! As the Front End Web Developer, you will be responsible for the user interface of our company website. Duties will include turning mock-ups into reusable code and performing routine maintenance and performance optimizations. Duties/Responsibilities Maintain company website by building web applications with web development best practices. Design mobile-based features and creating tools that will enhance the users website experience. Collaborate with back-end developer to improve usability. Assist back-end developer with coding and troubleshooting by performing routine performance optimizations. Optimize applications for maximum speed by routinely testing company website for ease of use, speed and other quality factors. Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency. Staying up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends. Other duties as necessary in support of the Companys goals and objectives. Education, Experience and /or Skills Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relevant field Experience as front end developer preferred Experience with JavaScript, CSS and React In-dept understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment) Understanding of layout aesthetics Knowledge of SEO principles Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment Excellent analytical and multitasking skills.
