Terramate enables teams to
build,
deploy,
manage and
observe cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, Kubernetes and others.
We are hiring
Senior Frontend Software Engineers as individual contributors to develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve Terramate Cloud. You should have professional experience in building high-quality software at scale. CS degree is a plus.
Work is remote or hybrid (depending on your location), with Berlin as the preferred location. We work exclusively with senior engineers in small, lean, and self-organized teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience delivering frontend software to production in Vuejs/Typescript
- Proven experience with Utility-First Frameworks such as TailwindCSS and UnoCSS
- Proven experience owning development and delivery end-to-end
- Willingness to learn technologies outside of frontend development, such as Terraform, Pulumi, Kubernetes
- Remote work competencies
- Be a manager of one (autonomous and dependable)
- Be an effective communicator
- Git and github proficiency
- Remote work within time zones UTC-2 to UTC+4. (Berlin time +/- 3 hours).
Nice to haves
- Experience with Tailwindcss, Vitest, Playwright, websockets.
- Backend experience (Go or Node).
- Experience with Netlify
- Experience at startups around the seed/series A stage

- Partner with Product owners to deliver value to customers. You'll get requirements from a PO and help shape them through questions and suggestions, then will be responsible for developing and delivering.
- Deliver web experiences that make complicated infrastructure technologies like Terraform and Kubernetes more accessible.
- Collaborate across teams
- Contribute to improving the team's processes and practices.
About Our Process
The interviewing process contains the following stages:
- Introduction Call (~30 min. Introduction of the company and initial get to know each other)
- Hiring Manager Call (~60min call with your future direct manager)
- Take-home assignment (Vue, TailwindCSS, APIs, written communication)
- Technical Interview (~90min deep dive into your take-home assignment, plus a technical interview, in a call with your future team)
- Founder Call (30 min. call with one of the founders)
