Responsibilities

• Participate in the development, testing, and review of code, as well as engage in discussions concerning software design and architecture.
• Create and integrate cutting-edge frontend features by crafting scalable, maintainable, and well-tested code in line with current best practices.
• Utilize your keen eye for user interface design to implement sustainable digital products.
• Foster close collaboration with our designers and analysts to achieve project objectives.
• Working closely with concepters, designers, product managers and strategists to push limits of sustainable and accessible digital products.

Who We're Looking For

• Candidates should be ready to both expand their knowledge and make a significant contribution to our projects.
• Approximately 5 years of experience as a Frontend Engineer with a deep understanding of web standards such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks and tools is advantageous, but not required. Technologies we like to work with include Kirby CMS, Tailwind, Remix, SvelteKit, TypeScript, Supabase, Playwright, and Vue/Nuxt.
• Strong emphasis on producing sustainable code, optimizing performance, and prioritizing accessibility.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required. German is a plus.

We have a comprehensive and inclusive application process. And it looks like this:

2. Initial ‘Get to know’, 30 min. (Phone/Video Interview) incl. talking through the CV and validate it, answering questions about role, introduction to acb.studio
3. Time-boxed take-home coding assignment: (1 - 2 Working hours)
4. Review of coding assignment in a git repo by acb.studio
5. Technical interview, discussion of coding assignment, 50 min. (Video Call)
6. Cultural Fit interview, 50 min. (Video Call) and reference checks (if necessary)
7. Offer call, 30 min. (Video Call)
8. Signage of contract
