We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Part-Time Full Stack Developer with 1-2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Node.js, and will be passionate about building innovative and scalable applications. This is a fully remote position and will be part-time (20-24 hrs/week), working on a range of business management apps for our clients. Key Responsibilities Front-End Development: Develop and implement user interfaces using React and TypeScript. Back-End Development: Develop server-side logic and APIs using Node.js and Express. Database Management: Integrate and manage databases (SQL/NoSQL) in conjunction with back-end services. Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices. Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, stakeholders, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions. Testing: Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure robustness and performance of applications. Troubleshooting: Identify, debug, and resolve issues in the development process. Continuous Improvement: Continually work to improve our codebase, methods, and app performance. Required Qualifications Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role. Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field. Proven relative experience and skills will also be considered. Front-End Skills: Proficiency in React, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript. Back-End Skills: Experience with back-end JavaScript, Node.js and Express. RESTful API development. Database Knowledge: Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).Version Control: Experience with Git and version control systems. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Development: Experience developing full stack JavaScript projects. Proficiency using TypeScript. Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with testing libraries such as Jest, RTL, etc. DevOps: Understanding of deployment and CI/CD processes. Soft Skills: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in an Agile environment.
