Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining our software solutions, ensuring scalability, and driving innovation. This role offers an opportunity to experience ownership of a system suite, ensuring its end-to-end functionality and performance, contribute to architectural decisions, and create impactful customer-facing features. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain a robust full-stack application using Laravel and Vue.js. Maintain and enhance the AWS-based infrastructure to ensure reliability and scalability. Optimize existing systems to improve performance across platforms. Implement unit testing using PHPUnit to ensure code quality and reliability. Implement new features as we grow. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend APIs with dynamic frontend interfaces. Contribute to the transition from third-party platforms to in-house solutions. Maintain intuitive user experience for customer’s subscription management. Collaborate with the product management team to align technical solutions with business goals. Additional Skills 5+ years of experience with Laravel (or similar frameworks such as Django, Ruby on Rails) 5+ years of experience with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), preferably experience with a frontend framework (such as Svelte, React, Vue) Experience developing and maintaining infrastructure for a Laravel application, including CI/CD, server maintenance and scaling Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. Hands-on experience with AWS services. Familiarity with subscription management systems and gamification frameworks. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex software issues and implement scalable solutions. Strong focus on documentation. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward innovation. Experience with Stripe, transactional email providers (e.g., Postmark, Mailgun), and subscription billing management is highly preferred. Compensation Salary Range: $120,000 – $150,000 CAD, based on experience. Flexible working environment. Quarterly bonus opportunities. Additional Information This role is primarily based at DECO Windshield Repair’s head office, with flexibility for remote work. Preference will be given to candidates residing in the Greater Calgary Area or those willing to relocate to Calgary, Alberta.
