Full Stack Developer We are a dynamic multimedia company providing in-house solutions for print, design, video, and photography. As we grow, we are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our team. This role requires someone who is passionate about web development and management, and eager to make a meaningful impact on our expanding Web Department. This is a long-term, local opportunity with both part-time and full-time hours available. You’ll work in a hybrid setting, with the flexibility to balance remote work and in-person collaboration at our office. Duties: -Manage cPanel and performing server modifications. -Troubleshoot domain and hosting issues across various platforms. -Maintain, update, back up, and protect 20+ WordPress sites (including malware protection and SSL security). -Install and customize WordPress plugins (Elementor expertise is a plus). -Write and modify custom WordPress code (PHP, CSS, HTML, JavaScript). -Optimize server resources for performance and security. -Use SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google My Business, and other search engine-related platforms. -Work with AI tools, understanding Python, and modifying Python-based scripts. -Design and develop custom websites and directories on WordPress. What We Are Looking For: -Experience: At least 2 years in web development, server management, and coding. -Elementor Expertise is a plus -Understands Code and can manipulate Python (bonus) -Skills: Clear communicator fluent in English, with strong grammar and writing skills. -Mindset: A team player with a problem-solving attitude and a desire for long-term collaboration. -Portfolio: Must provide a portfolio showcasing web design and development projects. Location: Must be local to the Lower Mainland of BC and available for in-person collaboration on a weekly basis. Sample Projects You’ll Work On: Building a directory-style WordPress website. Optimizing websites for search engine visibility and performance. Managing updates, backups, and security for a variety of WordPress sites. Enhancing server efficiency, speed, and protection. Designing responsive websites from concept to execution. Compensation: We are offering a mid-level starting rate with room to grow.
