Job Duties
Frontend and Backend Development including eCommerce & Learning Management Systems.
Maintaining and developing integrations between LMS, eCommerce, and other systems.
Maintain system availability and regularly monitor error and event logs in order to resolve issues promptly.
Remediate identified application security vulnerabilities.
Frequently communicate and collaborate with team members.
Must meet the minimum qualifications outlined below:
3+ years of experience with MEVN or MERN stack: Mongo, Express, Vue / React, and Nginx. Similar JavaScript experience will be considered since you will be leading a new project.
2+ years of experience working with highly customized WordPress eCommerce (e.g. WooCommerce) deployments LAMP stack ( Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP ). Must also be comfortable with plain JS and jQuery.
3+ years of experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
2+ years of experience in database administration (SQL or NoSQL).
2+ years of experience with Git and change management.
Experience with web API methods and authentication (RESTful and etc).
Experience configuring and/or monitoring security solutions like WAF, AV, FIM, and IDS/IPS.
Experience with centralized logging solutions.
General Knowledge of industry-standard best data/ information security practices.
Desired Qualifications are as follows:
AWS EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, Amplify, CodePipeline, and VPC experience.
Familiarity with Learndash and WooCommerce APIs.
Experience with the WordPress Codex and Javascript framework (React, Vue) integration methods.
Security Framework expertise including PCI DSS, NIST, and CIS Benchmarks.
Experience working with the Higher Education and/or EdTech industry.
