Full Stack Developer – Java/Python Initially until the end of March Remote £500-£550 (Outside IR35)
Role Overview: We are seeking two experienced Full-Stack Developers proficient in Java and Python to join our dynamic team. The successful candidates will have a strong background in prototyping and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. You will be instrumental in addressing the challenges faced by individuals with long-term health conditions or disabilities, helping us enhance the integration and delivery of essential public services.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map the current overall user journey.
Design and establish a vision for an improved 'to be' user journey that effectively addresses the needs of service users.
Evaluate options available to the Central Digital and Data Office (CDDO) aimed at enhancing the overall experience for users.
Develop a comprehensive roadmap for the transformation of public services.
Build, test, and maintain robust applications using Java and Python.
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and maintenance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a full-stack developer with proficiency in Java and Python.
Previous experience in prototyping and designing user-centric solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for improving public services.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
