This is an opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer to play a key role in the data-led transformation of a leading environmental services provider. The successful candidate will be seeking to build a new quoting application tool, requiring frontend and backend development experience to effectively deliver a robust solution. Responsibilities Hands-on development of front-end user interfaces and back-end systems. Working as a key member of an agile delivery team, contributing high quality code in a timely and collaborative way. Partaking in requirement gathering & definition aspect of the engagement Working with the wider client and engineering community to share knowledge and contribute to a team delivery effort. Documentation and explanation of processes and design decisions to wider team. Engaging directly with business stakeholders.. Proactive approach to software engineering standards and maintaining best practice. Experience Python development using Web Frameworks (FastAPI preferred, Django or alternative frameworks acceptable). Experience in React development and Single Page Application architecture. Experience implementing OAuth2 using Azure AD/Entra ID. Experience with event-driven architecture and Pub/Sub messaging patterns. Full stack capability with cloud platform experience (Azure preferred). Experience working in an agile environment. Additional Information Day rate: £500 - £550 IR35: Outside Location: Remote with occasional travel to London Start date: Mid March Initial Duration: 6 months (significant opportunity for extension) All candidates must have the right to work and reside in the UK
