We are on the lookout for an individual who has, at the minimum, two years' experience as follows: Proficient in client and server side javascript. Node.js, React, Redux, NoSQL and Expressjs. Proficient in HTML5, CSS. Experience with api and server development. Experience with responsive web design. Strong experience with OOP (object oriented programming). Computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms and performance optimization. You would be the only developer on our team. Our previous developer is available for assistance but only for limited hours per week. This is a remote (home office) position. We occasionally require on-call availability for urgent fixes for example when our appointment booking has a bug. You must reside in the Vancouver, BC area and have Canadian permanent residency or citizenship. Please note that we utilize the Hubstaff service with screenshots for tabulating the number of hours worked. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and be able to troubleshoot. Please note that your supervisor will be a non-IT trained individual. Therefore, you must possess advanced IT skills for this position.
