About the Role As a Full Stack Developer, you will take ownership of designing and implementing scalable backend systems, secure API integrations, and intuitive user interfaces. Collaborating closely with UX/UI designers and Firmwerx leadership, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, custom solutions that align with client needs and business goals. Responsibilities Include: Designing and implementing backend architectures for AI-powered applications and document automation workflows. Building secure and user-friendly client portals for data access, project tracking, and interaction. Developing and integrating third-party APIs to enhance application functionality and streamline processes. Collaborating with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless user experiences through responsive front-end development. Conducting rigorous testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure applications are reliable, scalable, and secure. Overseeing and refining code produced by outsourced developers to maintain high-quality standards. Staying updated on emerging technologies and recommending tools and approaches to improve development processes. What We’re Looking For We are seeking a results-driven developer with a strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in a part-time, contract role. Qualifications: Proven experience in full stack web development, including front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails). Expertise in API integration and backend systems, with a focus on secure data exchange and scalability. Familiarity with building AI-powered applications and implementing machine learning tools is a must. Experience with document automation platforms and workflows. Proficiency in database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Prior experience overseeing outsourced development teams or distributed teams is preferred. Preferred Attributes: Demonstrated ability to create secure, scalable client portals integrated with complex backend systems. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines for efficient development workflows. Proactive and solutions-driven, with a passion for delivering impactful applications. Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
