Ready to work remotely and collaborate with other developers? We are seeking talented React.js and Next.js developers who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications and delivering highly scalable results. You must not have graduated more than two years ago from university at the time of seeing this opening. The offer is limited to two years with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Core Platform Features
• Build and maintain web applications for the Simplex platform using React.js and Next.js, ensuring a seamless experience for SMEs, creators, and marketers.

Collaborate on Feature Design

• Work closely with the product, design, and AI teams to determine key functionalities, including AI-driven ideation, content generation workflows, and analytics dashboards.

Ensure High-Performance Applications

• Build, test, and deploy software optimized for speed and scalability to handle the demands of AI-driven processes and multimedia data.

Optimize the Simplex User Experience

• Enhance web application interfaces for maximum usability, aligning with the platform’s goal of simplifying content creation and strategy for users.

Debug and Ensure Operational Continuity

• Debug and maintain the platform to guarantee seamless operation, particularly for AI-powered tools and customer-facing features.

Document Development Processes

• Write detailed design and technical documentation to guide development teams and ensure alignment on Simplex’s technical roadmap.

Evaluate and Improve Existing Systems

• Continuously evaluate and improve the platform’s React.js and Next.js systems, incorporating feedback from users to meet their content creation and marketing needs effectively.

Integrate AI-Driven Features

• Collaborate with the AI and engineering teams to implement features like natural language processing, ideation tools, and predictive analytics in a user-friendly interface.

Focus on Scalability and Reliability

• Design systems capable of handling increasing workloads and diverse multimedia formats as the Simplex user base grows.

Contribute to Innovation

• Stay updated on the latest web technologies and contribute ideas for enhancing the platform’s functionality, helping Simplex set new standards in the industry.

Educational background:

University degree: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Relevant certificates or diplomas in web development or programming may also be considered.

Technical Skills:

Front-end development:

Languages: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Frameworks/Libraries: Familiarity with one or more frontend frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.

Backend development:

Languages: Basic understanding of backend languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby or PHP.

Frameworks: Experience with backend frameworks such as Express.js (Node.js), Django (Python) or Spring Boot (Java).

Database management:

Knowledge: Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQLite.

Skills: Basic knowledge of creating SQL queries.

Version control

Tools: Familiarity with Git and platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.

APIs:

Understanding: Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them.

Soft Skills:

Problem-solving: The ability to effectively debug and troubleshoot code.

Communication: Good communication skills to collaborate with team members.

Adaptability: willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to different tasks.

Experience:

Projects: Some experience with personal, academic, or internship projects that demonstrate your ability to build and deploy full-stack applications.

Internships: Previous internships or part-time work in software development is an advantage but not essential.

Optional/Desirable:

DevOps: Basic understanding of deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines.

Mobile Development: Experience with mobile-first design or familiarity with frameworks such as React Native is an advantage.

Cloud services: Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud is an advantage.
