Infor is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our talented Digital Experience team. This position will play a vital role in driving our success by leveraging expertise to build and enhance our web applications and platforms. This role will collaborate with operations, strategy, and creative teams to develop and deploy software solutions that meet the needs of our business. The Full-Stack Software Engineer is involved in all stages of the software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to implementation and maintenance.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to gather requirements and develop innovative software solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications using modern web technologies, frameworks, and tools.
Implement and integrate front-end and back-end components to create seamless user experiences and robust software systems.
Maintain and extend existing APIs using GraphQL queries, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and integration with backend services.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
Perform thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix software defects and ensure the reliability and stability of our applications.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and trends in the software development industry and incorporate them into the development process when appropriate.
Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members to foster professional growth and ensure high-quality code.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer, with a portfolio of web applications and projects.
Experience in modern JavaScript frameworks (Next.js, Vue.js) and libraries (React JS) for building scalable full-stack applications.
Experience building, maintaining and debugging backend services using Node.js, including RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience debugging and optimizing code for performance.
Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in an interactive agency a plus.
Experience deploying and managing web applications on modern hosting platforms like Vercel and Netlify a plus.
Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for learning and staying updated with emerging technologies.
