Mission of your Role:
We are looking for a highly capable Full-Stack Web Developer with strong skills in ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, C#, and experience creating interactive websites to join our team. You will join our high performing team of software developers to help create and continuously improve software products that matter to improve the standard of orthotic and prosthetic patient care. You will work on the design, implementation, and maintenance of our software solutions, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and reliability.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, test, and maintain software solutions, under the guidance of the Software lead.
Conduct regular code reviews and implement quality assurance measures.
Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs, issues, and inefficiencies.
Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to meet software requirements and expectations.
Write clear and detailed technical documentation.
Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies, programming languages, and industry best practices.
Your Key Competencies & Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
5+ years of previous professional experience in web development
Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core 8.0, C#, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience with UI/UX design tools such as Figma
Experience with other web technologies such as TypeScript, SQL, Node.js, Three.js, and React is an asset
Experience with Azure services and cloud deployment
Strong understanding of security and privacy considerations for cloud-based products
Strong understanding of object-oriented design
Familiarity with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with revision control systems such as Git and SVN
Familiarity with issue tracking software such as Jira
Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities
Strong verbal and written English communication skills, capable of interacting with a variety of stakeholders
Proactive in learning new technologies and industry best practices
French language proficiency is an asset
Familiarity with the Orthotics and Prosthetics industry is an asset
