Role: GCP Cloud engineer Location: Canada & USA Remote Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code solutions using Terraform. Configure and manage GCP services, including Compute Engine, App Engine, j Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Dataflow. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build or other tools. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues. Collaborate with development teams to deploy and manage applications on GCP. Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with security standards. Optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency. Required Skills and Experience: Strong proficiency in Terraform and other infrastructure as code tools. In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services, including Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Dataflow. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Cloud Build or Jenkins. Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.) Understanding of networking, security, and storage concepts. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with data engineering concepts and tools like Dataflow and DataProc. Knowledge of Kubernetes and its ecosystem. Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
