As a Database Engineer specializing in GIS, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing geospatial applications and back-end databases. You will be a part of a dynamic and innovative team working on cutting-edge geospatial technologies. Your contributions will directly support critical projects, helping shape the future of geospatial data management.

Salary: $80,000

Requirements:

• Proficient in software tools such as ESRI, ArcGIS Portal, and ArcSDE for data creation and integration.
• Strong experience utilizing programming languages such as Python, ArcPy, and ArcGIS API for Python for GIS back-end applications to automate workflows, perform advanced analysis, and integrate GIS systems.
• Solid understanding of SDE Versioning and its role in geospatial data management.
• Experience with ETL processes to facilitate smooth data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA) in a related field such as Computer Science, Geography, Geospatial Science, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a related area with a focus on GIS technologies.

Preferred but not required:

• Experience with GitLab for version control and CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with AWS for cloud-based solutions and geospatial data storage.
• Experience with C# and Visual Studio in developing and maintaining GIS-based software applications.
