Position: GIS Developer

Duration: 6 months with extension possible

Job Description

Experience Required:

• Experience in product /application integration with ESRI ArcGIS Online
• Uploading element images into ESRI using the interface implemented for upload - data transfer, storage and retrieval.
• Develops, implements, and manages elements in GIS solutions software; maintenance of enterprise GIS databases and web-mapping services in support of desktop and mobile solutions
• Understanding of common geospatial algorithms, such as geocoding by writing or interpreting pseudo code
• Acquires and manipulates dads and enterprise reporting to include creation of advanced queries for ad hoc reports used in conjunction with enterprise software developed applications
• Provides quality control specific to element images captured (data conversion), the evaluation of data acquired and report generation

Skill Required:

• Utilizing, managing, and development of relational databases
• Geo-processing tools and techniques
• Creation and maintenance of web mapping applications
• Identify alternatives for customization and automation, such as APIs, SDKs, and scripting languages

Education Required:

Degree in Information Technology, Geography, Cartography, or Computer Science, and three years of related geographical information systems experience
