We are looking for a strategic product leader to help define the next phase of our growth and user experience.
About the Role:
As our Head of Product, you will take full ownership of the product vision, strategy, and execution at Heymax. This is a leadership role where you’ll be responsible for shaping our product roadmap and driving the evolution of our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Data Analytics, to build and deliver products that resonate with our users and align with our business objectives. Key Responsibilities:
• Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with Heymax’s mission to simplify rewards and elevate the travel experience. Translate business goals and user needs into an actionable and prioritized product roadmap.
• Product Development & Lifecycle: Own the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and discovery to launch, iteration, and optimization. Work closely with Engineering and Design to ensure timely delivery of high-quality product features and enhancements.
• User-Centric Approach: Champion the voice of the user by leveraging data, user research, and market insights to inform product decisions. Ensure that all product development is guided by a deep understanding of user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate across functions to align product priorities with company objectives. Foster strong working relationships with Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Support teams to create cohesive and delightful user experiences.
• Team Leadership & Growth: Build, mentor, and lead a team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement. Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and create development opportunities for your team.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish and track key product KPIs to measure product success and performance. Use qualitative and quantitative insights to guide feature prioritization, A/B testing, and continuous improvement of the product experience.
• Go-To-Market & Launch Strategies: Partner with Marketing and other teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches. Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on messaging, positioning, and product value propositions to drive successful launches.
• Innovate & Iterate: Stay on top of emerging trends in fintech, travel, and rewards, leveraging insights to continuously innovate and improve Heymax’s product offerings. Drive a culture of experimentation and iterative product development.
Qualifications:
• Experience in Product Management: 8+ years of product management experience in consumer-facing technology companies, with a proven track record of building and scaling successful products. Experience in fintech, rewards, or travel industries is highly preferred.
• Leadership & Team Development: 3+ years in a leadership role managing and mentoring Product Managers. Ability to build and inspire a team to deliver impactful results in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Strong Product Strategy & Vision: Ability to define a strategic product vision that balances user needs, business goals, and market opportunities. Comfortable making high-impact decisions and managing trade-offs to align with overall business priorities.
• User-Obsessed & Data-Driven: Deep passion for understanding user behavior and needs. Experience using data, user research, and analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude) to drive product decisions and measure success.
• Excellent Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong communicator and relationship-builder who can effectively work with Design, Engineering, Marketing, and other stakeholders to drive alignment and deliver on shared goals.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex challenges and make decisions in a fast-moving environment. Highly organized and capable of prioritizing multiple work streams effectively.
• Startup Experience & Mindset: Comfortable working in a startup or fast-growing environment with an entrepreneurial mindset. Hands-on, proactive, and willing to roll up your sleeves to make things happen.
• Passion for Travel & Rewards: A genuine interest in fintech, rewards, and consumer technology. A passion for travel and a desire to improve the user experience for frequent travelers is a big plus.
