LOCATION: REMOTE (occasional in-office at Phoenix AZ headquarter) START DATE: ASAP DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for all inbound HL7 (ORMs) coming from Onrad’s hospital client(s) in aspects of: Programming HL7 interface to receive and process HL7 ORMs coming from each new clients’ EMR. Processing and storing the resulting HL7’s metadata to facilitate automation workflow. Maintaining existing HL7 interfaces for existing clients. Responsible for loading all prior radiology reports using the method of inbound HL7 (ORUs) or DICOM-SR coming from Onrad’s hospital client(s) in aspects of: Programming HL7 interface to process and store radiology reports (HL7 ORUs) coming from the clients’ EMR. Processing and storing radiology reports (DICOM SRs) coming from the clients’ PACS. Maintaining existing HL7 interfaces for existing clients. Responding for outbound HL7 (ORUs) to a 3rd party organization for billing purposes: Delivery of outbound HL7 ORUs that originated from Onrad’s RIS Delivery of outbound HL7 ORUs that originated from an Onrad’s client’s EMR Program HL7 interface for new clients Delivery of outbound HL7 ADTs that originated from an Onrad’s client’s EMR Maintain all existing HL7 interfaces pertaining to 3rd party billing Application proficiency: Python Knowledge in DICOM Linux (OS, application management, daemon, etc.) Mirth MS SQL Server Develop a process to facilitate a multi-developer environment by utilizing tools and/or procedures. Review organization’s ticketing system for any HL7 related tickets to determine malfunction, severity of impact and provide permanent solutions. Work with support as necessary for Tier 1 Support through training as well as creating formal documentation as it relates to HL7. Be on staff for the I.T. after-hours on-call rotation (currently once every 5 weeks)
