HPC Linux System Engineer - Remote within Cologne / Dusseldorf area

A great new opportunity for an experienced HPC (High Performance Computing) System Engineer to join this highly successful and growing HPC systems integrator, contributing to the design and deployment of VERY large HPC/supercomputer installations and provide ongoing support to their customers.

This employer supports public and private sector organisations across Europe who are implementing very large supercomputing solutions - these are typically solutions that will sit comfortably within the HPC Top500 list. Due to continued growth within their client base they are now seeking an experienced HPC Systems Engineer to assist in the implementation of new supercomputers as well as providing ongoing troubleshooting support.

You will already have the following skills/experience:

• Solid experience of Linux system administration (SuSE, Red Hat or similar)
• Scripting skills in Shell, Python, Bash or similar
• Lustre and/or GPFS
• Containerisation, virtualisation and IaaC solutions such Ansible
• German and English language skills

This employer has a physical office in Cologne / Dusseldorf area, applicants must be within 90 minutes in order to be able to attend site on an occasional basis.
