IAM software Developer that will be responsible for developing software solutions to support the agency s single sign-on and security gateway applications, as well as integrating web-based systems. This role involves administering and supporting identity and access management (IAM) systems, particularly with IBM Security Verify products, and requires expertise in Java EE development, CI/CD processes, and Red Hat Linux.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Develop and implement software solutions for single sign-on and security gateway applications, ensuring seamless integration of web-based systems.
  • Administer and support IAM systems using IBM Security Verify Governance (ISVG), Access (ISVA), and Directory (ISVD), including the ISVA Federation module.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, design system specifications, and deploy solutions through CI/CD processes.

Minimum Candidate Characteristics:

  • 8 years of experience in software development using Java EE (servlet, JSP) to build enterprise-level applications.
  • Expertise in IBM Security Verify products (Governance, Access, Directory) to manage and secure identity and access systems.
  • Familiarity with administering IAM systems and working within CI/CD frameworks to implement and maintain secure software solutions.

Exceptional Candidate Characteristics:

  • Extensive experience administering IAM systems built on IBM software, including ISVG, ISVA, and ISVD, with strong knowledge of IBM WAS and DB2.
  • Proficiency in implementing federation modules and integrating secure systems using Java EE in complex environments.
  • Familiarity with government systems and processes, ensuring alignment with state requirements and standards.

The Software (IAM) Developer develops software solutions for the agency's single sign-on, security gateway application, and the integration of web-based systems. Responsibilities include administering and supporting identity and access management systems, applications, and configurations. Assignments involve working with IBM Security Verify Governance (ISVG), IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA), IBM Security Verify Directory (ISVD), and the ISVA Federation module. The developer must have senior-level experience with Java EE (servlet, JSP) and be familiar with CI/CD process. Daily tasks require completing assignments with one or more of the aforementioned software components while collaborating with the project team, customers, product support team peers, and management teams. The role involves investigating problem areas and preparing and installing solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. With 8 or more years of experience, the developer relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, and is expected to demonstrate a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
