Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and driven Business Developer to join our team and help expand Microctan’s business in the IoT sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the technology landscape, particularly in IoT, and a proven track record in business development or sales. This is a unique opportunity to partner with a dynamic team dedicated to innovation and growth in the IoT space.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Target New Opportunities: Conduct market research to identify potential clients in various sectors, including healthcare, manufacturing, smart cities, and energy.
  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Drive Sales: Lead the sales process from initial contact through to closing, ensuring that clients understand the value of Microctan's IoT solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with our technical team to ensure that client requirements are clearly understood and integrated into project proposals.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans to expand Microctan's market presence and enhance brand visibility.
  • Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote Microctan and its services.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in business development or sales within the technology or IoT industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IoT technologies, trends, and market dynamics.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Self-Motivated: A proactive and results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Network: Established network within the IoT or technology sectors is a plus.
  • Location: Must be located in Germany or the United States.
