Role Overview As a 2nd Line IT Support Technician, you will: ? Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues from 1st Line. ? Perform remote diagnostics, repairs, and proactive monitoring to ensure smooth system performance. ? Support infrastructure projects, including network upgrades and system checks. ? Manage AWS services (EC2, RDS), Active Directory/Azure AD, and G Suite administration. ? Conduct testing, patching, and imaging of devices. ? Provide outstanding end-user support for clients and internal teams. ? Assist with phone systems, RMM tools, and content management. What Were Looking For To hit the ground running, youll need: ? Proven experience in helpdesk support, particularly 2nd line. ? Strong IT knowledge including Windows diagnostics, AWS, and scripting (PowerShell/Bash). ? Exposure to tools like HaloPSA, Splashtop, Atera, or other RMM/service desk systems. ? Understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, and G Suite administration. ? Basic SQL query skills and familiarity with Cyber Essentials. ? A full clean UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel when required. ? Excellent customer service and communication skills youre the calm in the storm when issues arise!
