Evaluate latest tools and technologies to determine the best approach to help architect the application. Has in depth knowledge of how technology integrates within the organization and of direct competitors’ products and services (High Availability/Scalability/Reliability/Security). Impacts the overall technology function through responsibility for planning, end results, setting policies and contribution to strategic decisions. Experience with DevOps best practices including CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, UDeploy, Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory, EC2, EKS, OpenShift, Elastic Cache, S3 etc. Hands-on experience in rolling out data platforms on premises using technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, Apache Spark, relational and NoSQL (Oracle, MongoDB) data stores at scale. This role would require someone to stretch beyond regular responsibilities and will need to support critical issues, if required.
