V2X is looking for a qualified candidate to work as a full-time Java Software Developer. Selected candidates will become part of the team of men and women that support our military today. This position is 100% remote. Responsibilities: to include development, testing, requirement gathering and debugging. The developer will be able to designs, codes, tests, develops, and documents critical and complex application programs for computer systems. The developer needs to be familiar and comfortable with working in a fast-paced Agile delivery environment. Works with Functional Analysts to define system scope and objectives, establish baselines, manages modifications to and maintenance of operational programs and procedures. The developer will follow project standards and processes, participate in stakeholder, product owner and functional meetings to define software requirements and creates highly complex systems. Required Qualifications: Expertise in one or more technical disciplines - SQL, Visual Studio, [webforms], Java, JavaScript, Ajax, Telerik, TFS, Git and Azure DevOps. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain software applications written in Java Write SQL queries for data mining Perform data validation and data transfer, using existing scripts Provide Configuration Management (CM) control of software releases Experience in developing application scenarios, process flows/models, test cases and scripts Strong technical documentation ability Experience with code deployment in development, testing and production environments Agile process implementation, Scrum and SAFe Able to work well in a team environment DoD Development Experience (Army, Navy, Air Force, Armed Forces) Required Qualifications/Skills Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field 5+ year’s experience web and database technologies. 5+ years' experience building large distributed, API-driven systems. RESTful web services JavaScript (They mostly use React and Node) Java, .NET Frameworkwhich can be coupled with VB.Net or ASP.Net experience (.NET Core is preferred) SQL 3 year’s experience (preferred). Telerik 3 years (Preferred) Desired Qualifications/Skills SQL 3 year’s experience (preferred).
