Hiring: JIRA Administrator / Developer (Remote)

Position :JIRA Administrator / Developer

Location: remote

We re looking for an experienced JIRA Admin/Developer for a 100% remote role. The ideal candidate will be skilled in JIRA workflows, automation, and integration with Atlassian and DevOps tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer JIRA projects, workflows, permissions, schemes, custom fields, and screens.
• Develop custom workflows and automation using ScriptRunner, Automation for Jira, REST APIs, and webhooks.
• Integrate JIRA with Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, ServiceNow, etc.
• Build dashboards and reports using JQL and marketplace add-ons.
• Provide user support, perform system audits, and maintain documentation.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of JIRA administration and development experience.
• Proficiency in JQL, REST APIs, and scripting tools.
• Hands-on with plugins like ScriptRunner, JMWE, BigPicture.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Atlassian certifications (ACP-100, ACP-120) are a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with DevOps tools (Confluence, Jenkins, Git).
• Worked in regulated environments (healthcare, finance).
• Experience with Atlassian tool migration/upgrades.
