Role: Junior Automotive Engineer

Site Location: Cranfield - Working pattern - 3 days in the office / 2 days at home - however this may change depending on work requirements.

Rate: Up to £23.47 per hour PAYE

Duration: 12-month contract

Key Activities

Exterior Trim + Lighting: Development from initial concept through to mass manufacture of parts made by suppliers and parts made in house
Working with the support of your senior engineer and the wider team you will be Developing parts to meet quality/cost/delivery targets.
Problem solving concerns for build & test failures (digital and physical).
Managing supplier and in house parts.
Working with styling team to feedback during digital development phase.

Qualifications, skills, training requirement

Bachelor's degree in engineering or Product/Industrial Design or equivalent.
Familiar with CAD Software for example Siemens NX Some experience in a professional engineering design role / automotive industry would be an advantage
