Junior Software Engineer, Summer Trainee

We are looking for a summer trainee to join our eInstant team. The eInstant team develops and maintains eInstant Platforms and Game Frame for Finnish and international markets. Our platforms encompass a comprehensive suite of solutions, including cloud infrastructure, backend, and frontend systems and services. With a focus on innovation and reliability, we ensure seamless integration and optimal performance for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of eInstant applications
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality
• Support the team in various tasks related to software development

Required skills:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science or a related field
• Strong foundation in programming and software engineering principles
• Good English communication skills
• Good teamworking skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Good grades in software engineering and other relevant courses

Preferred skills:

• Experience with Go, Java, C++ or Python programming languages
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge on any of these technologies: GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Kubernetes, Docker, Postgres, Linux, bash, Terraform
• Knowledge on agile methodologies
