Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and fluent programmer who has had experience as a lead developer to assist and help consult in the development of our open world, voxel themed, PC game, made in Godot.

Fluency in C# and C++ is a requirement. Understanding GDScript is a plus, though not required. The ideal candidate would be an experienced game developer with extensive knowledge working with voxels and optimizing procedurally generated terrain.

We are looking for someone who can work part-time but still willing to make this their main priority. We need someone who can help tackle some of the more complex issues that we may otherwise struggle with.

Duties

- Help clean up and optimize code already implemented in Godot

- Develop and add new mechanics missing in the game.

-Consult and tutor our staff through their programming problems

- Maintain version control using GitHub for efficient project management

Requirements

- Proficiency in application development and software design principles

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Knowledge of game design principles

- Ability to work collaboratively

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
