LEAD PLATFORM ENGINEER (M/W/D)

What you’ll be doing as a Lead Platform Engineer?

• Ensuring the development of our internal on-prem container platform
• Being responsible that cloud-based infrastructure tooling meets actual business needs
• Being an active part of the platform team
• Bonducting Code Reviews and planning sessions

Communication is key in this role, since the platform is used by other products and teams. Coordinating efforts with those teams and ensuring that everybody is in the know is also part of your job.

Job Requirement

Experience required:

• Good understanding of modern Container technologies (especially Kubernetes)
• Solid programming experience in Go and Python
• Proven experience in designing/architecting solutions according to business requirements
• Experience in a senior engineer role
• Experience with configuration management solutions and IaC Tools (preferably Ansible and Terraform/OpenTofu)
• Experience with public clouds (preferably GCP or AWS)
