Position Title: Lead Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Software Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of expertise to support the EPA's National Hazardous Waste System (RCRAInfo). The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of RCRA Subtitle C requirements and demonstrated experience with large-scale, AWS cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development and maintenance of AWS cloud-based enterprise applications for RCRAInfo.
• Develop software using PL/SQL, Java, IntelliJ, and JavaScript.
• Manage Oracle/Postgres databases and develop reports with Jasper Report.
• Ensure compliance with RCRA regulations in IT projects.
• Conduct unit and integrated testing using Sahi-Pro.
• Develop user guides, training materials, and online help using Robo-help.
• Support data exchanges via APIs and maintain data integrity.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and project management.
• Expertise in PL/SQL, AWS cloud, and Oracle/Postgres databases.
• Proficiency in Java-based web applications and API integration.
• Experience with RCRA regulations and large user conferences.
• Strong experience with Sahi-Pro for testing and Robo-help for documentation.

Education:

• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
