Full-Time Role Our client is an innovative fintech company, I am seeking a highly skilled Engineering Lead with strong expertise in Golang to drive the technical vision and execution of their cutting-edge platform. This company operates a dynamic ecosystem that connects Financial Institutions, Fintechs, Educational Institutions, and developers to accelerate innovation and foster growth in the financial services sector. In this role, you will take the lead in managing a talented engineering team, driving the development of scalable and high-performance backend systems, and ensuring successful product delivery. ? Key Responsibilities: Lead the technical strategy and development of core products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and resources. Oversee the software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies, with a focus on delivering high-quality backend services and APIs. Drive the continuous delivery of innovative features while balancing scalability and a minimum viable product (MVP) approach. Maintain high service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of outages. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale the platform and support business growth. Lead efforts to assess and enhance system reliability and performance. Implement robust security measures throughout the development lifecycle, including vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. Mentor and manage engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture. Evaluate, recommend, and adopt emerging technologies to enhance backend systems. Partner with external stakeholders to develop new integrations and tools. ? Required Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience in backend development with Golang (Go), with a proven track record of building scalable and reliable systems. Strong knowledge of cloud-native platforms and distributed systems, including: Backend: Golang, managed with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) on AWS. Database: Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) with PostgreSQL. Infrastructure Management: Kubernetes and database backups, along with object storage. At least 7–8 years of experience in software engineering, including leadership roles mentoring and managing teams. Experience leading large-scale projects and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. Familiarity with frontend technologies (React, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus but not mandatory.
