Lead Software Engineer – Node & React UK – Fully Remote £80,000-£90,000 I’m currently working for a growing FinTech SaaS business of over 20 years, who are looking for Lead Software Engineer to join their team on a fully remote basis and paying up to £90,000. Please note candidates are required to be based in the UK. The company specialise in accounting software and push the boundaries for utilising modern technologies with financial best practices which help their diverse client base become more efficient and user friendly. They have steadily grown for over 20 years and now operate globally with sites in the UK, Europe, US and Asia. In role, you will build scalable solutions as part of the company’s product suite while also being involved in migrating analytics tools into their eco-system as part of a recent partnership with multiple clients. The role is predominantly backend focused but does take on a full stack approach and working with Cloud technologies. As a Lead, you will manage a team of 6 developers which will eventually grow to 10-12 in the next 12months and have a 50.50 split between managing and coding. The role offers a great pathway for progression and the chance to work on the latest and most important projects for the business. Their offices are based in London but the roles are fully remote within the UK. Technical Requirements: Backend: Nodejs, Express, SQL. Frontend: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React. Cloud: GCP or AWS Bonus Skills: CI/CD, TDD, C#. Good stakeholder management skills to work with clients. Collaboration skills to work with different teams including international. Experience leading a team previously of around 4-6. Support in driving the technical direction of the team. Central London offices – Fully Remote. Candidates need to be based in UK and sponsorship is not offered. Salary/Benefits: £80,000-£90,000 Bonus Scheme. Pension.
