Lead Software Engineer Lead Software Engineer Location What we're looking for Niomon is looking for a Lead Software Engineer who has a passion for solving hard engineering problems to build our API products for innovative fintech companies. This is a leadership role who will actively participate in product design and management. This position will work closely with our Chief Software Architect to deliver a robust and scalable system that enables the future finance. Responsibilities Lead designs of major software components, systems, and features. Develop advanced security and cryptographic systems. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software. Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables. Mentor and train other team members on software development. Minimum Qualifications Educated in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience. Experience in Software Development in one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: C/C++, Java, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, Rust, Go, Objective-C and/or Swift. Interest and ability to solve hard Engineering and Computer Science problems. Interest and ability to learn other coding languages and advanced technology as needed. Strong knowledge of fundamental Computer Science subjects such as algorithm, data structure, cryptography, programming language, or computer architecture. Strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive. Preferred Qualifications Experience architecting and developing large scale design. Experience working with one or more from the following: Security and Privacy, Blockchain, Infrastructure, Mobile Application Development, Embedded Systems, Frontend Development and/or similar. Experience working with server-side web frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Django, Flask, or Express. Significant development experience in React, Vue.js, Angular, ember.js, backbone.js or similar.
