About the Role
As a Lightspeed U Version Developer, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining the Lightspeed U platform. This role involves creating and managing updates, ensuring seamless functionality, and enhancing the user experience. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver an exceptional educational platform for our users. This position is ideal for someone with a deep technical background, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating innovative software solutions.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the Lightspeed U platform, focusing on stability, scalability, and performance.
Design, code, test, and deploy updates and new features within the Lightspeed U ecosystem.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Work with UX/UI designers to integrate user-friendly designs into the application.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during development and post-launch.
Optimize platform performance to ensure a high-quality user experience.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices for version control and code documentation.
Participate in code reviews, contributing to and learning from other team members.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a software developer, ideally with Lightspeed systems or similar platforms.
Proficiency in [list primary languages/frameworks used by Lightspeed U].
Strong knowledge of web development and application frameworks.
Familiarity with database management and integration, especially with [list relevant databases].
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
