Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Systems Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. This role requires a strong understanding of various programming languages and database management systems, along with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Responsibilities Administer and maintain server environments, ensuring high availability and performance. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data and systems. Manage version control using SVN, ensuring proper documentation and tracking of changes. Develop and maintain APIs to facilitate integration between different systems. Collaborate with development teams using languages such as C#, JavaScript, C++, and SQL to support application deployment and maintenance. Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to protect data integrity. Provide technical support to users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly. Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference. Skills Proficiency in managing Linux environments. Experience with database management systems such as MySQL. Familiarity with cloud services, particularly Azure. Strong programming skills in C#, JavaScript, C++, or similar languages. Knowledge of version control systems like SVN. Understanding of API development and integration practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical users.
