Linux System Engineer

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our client, to oversee the development and operation of their Linux based web applications.

• Web application administration and/or system integration experience required.
• This role is available remotely in Germany: all candidates must be living in Germany with fluency in German to be considered.

Your Responsibilities:

• Operating, enhancing, and reporting on Linux web application services
• Creating and establishing new IT services, upgrades, and processes to improve operations
• Act as a contact person for web application projects, for both internal teams and external service providers
• Collaborate and coordinate with your team to ensure timely and successful project completion

Skills and Qualifications:

• Web servers and application administration experience
• Post qualification experience as a System Integration IT Specialist (or equivalent)
• Fluency in German and English Languages
• Knowledge of Apache 2, Wildfly, Nginx, Tomcat, and/or MySQL
