Livepeer Studio is a leading video streaming platform that delivers high quality / low cost video solutions using an innovative approach through open source software and blockchain. We are expanding our product offering to make video-centric AI tooling accessible, affordable, and open for application developers everywhere.

This is a zero-to-one moment for Livepeer Studio's AI tooling, and comes at a critical inflection point in the video AI community. As a founding member of Livepeer Studio's AI product engineering team, you will be responsible for iterating on a new video AI developer product and bringing it to market. This is an entrepreneurial role. You will work cross-functionally to help Livepeer Studio capture the revenue opportunities created by the emerging AI capabilities of the Livepeer network.

Requirements

• Deeply understand the video AI ecosystem, including generative AI, computer vision, and legacy ML
• Extensive experience in building developer products, and understand what it takes to onboard developers onto a new tool
• Working experience with image and video AI models (both diffusion and LLM), and know how to evaluate performance characteristics of these models
• Deep familiarity with AI developer tooling
• Iterate quickly with a small product and engineering team to identifying, derisking, and execute on value-generating product offerings

• Strong ability to create clarity out of ambiguity, and a can-do attitude
  Stellar written, verbal, and organizational skills
• 3- 5 years of AI Product development experiences are highly desirable
• At least 8 years of experience in an engineering role
• Technical expertise in either video workflows or video-centric AI (bonus points if you've done both)
• Strong bias for action and accountability
• Some technical skills are highly desirable
  • GANs and VAEs model usage application experiences

  • High performing API in high concurrent and low latency env

• Background as a founder or early engineer of a developer-facing product
• A deep existing network within the AI community

• Base salary: $165-$210k USD
