WAYS YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE As an Engineering Manager, you’ll be the dev lead for the cross-functional Collaboration team, building full-stack Messaging, Task Management, and Notification capabilities within Basis. Along with developing essential user-facing collaboration features, your team will operate as a Platform team, enabling other engineering teams to integrate seamlessly with these tools by creating scalable APIs and interfaces that unify communications within Basis. Your responsibilities will include: WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE 5-7 years of experience, plus 1-3 years of management experience Proven track record of leading engineering teams through full-stack development cycles, from ideation to production, with a focus on building scalable, maintainable systems Background in web development, including proficiency with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React.js) and back-end technologies (e.g., Ruby on Rails, Java Spring Boot) BONUS POINTS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Experience working on building collaboration tools for SaaS platforms Excited by a fast-paced product development environment. Individual salary is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
