About the role

We believe zero-emission heat production is the future, and we're partnering with industrial companies to make it a reality. As our business grows, we're looking for a Swedish and Finnish speaking Marketing Communications Manager to join our team at Fortum Heating and Cooling.

In this role you will be responsible for planning marketing and communication strategies and executing activities for the Industrial Energy Solutions business segment across the Nordic markets. You'll play a key role in strengthening our brand and competitive position while supporting our growth goals. Your tasks include:

• Strategic marketing and communications planning and execution, primary business area being our Energy Solutions business segment across the Nordic markets.
• Create targeted content in Finnish and Swedish to our target segments throughout the whole prospect & customer lifecycle to ensure preference and help deliver our growth agenda.
• Plan and implement internal and external marketing and communication activities (spanning from marketing automation, web, SEM and social media to events, conferences, and leveraging data and analytics).
• Contribute to our marketing strategy and process development as well as how we collaborate with our external partners and internal stakeholders.

About you

To succeed in this role, you

• Have at least 3 years of experience in marketing and communications, along with a degree in a related field.
• Are fluent in Swedish (native level), Finnish, and English, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Are a strong content creator, skilled at producing impactful messaging.
• Understand the customer lifecycle and are passionate about delivering superior customer experiences across all segments and initiatives.
• Are comfortable navigating digital tools, from website management and CRM systems to social media platforms, digital advertising, and analytics.
• Know how to leverage partner networks, working with creative and media agencies to achieve high-quality and effective outcomes.
• Have a strategic, structured and goal-oriented approach, while still getting a kick out of hands-on tasks.

The position is located at Fortum head office in Keilaniemi, Espoo. You'll report to the Senior Marketing Manager at Fortum's Heating and Cooling business area and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across the organization. You're comfortable in a hybrid work environment, balancing time between the office and remote work to collaborate effectively and achieve your goals.
