Hybrid, North Kent

£35k - £60k dependent on experience

This role is to join an established building services design consultancy who cover a range of project types including education, heritage, offices, hospitals, local authority and data centres.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities will include involvement in the full cycle of projects from client briefs and planning, though to design and supervision and finally completion.
• Developing conceptual & detailed design solutions in line with client’s brief.
• Carrying out the detailed mechanical services design and calculations.
• Equipment Selection.
• Production/writing of mechanical specifications, schedules, reports and technical papers.
• Dependent on your experience level you will represent the business alone or attend with a more senior engineer to develop your experience at a wide range of meetings from client, design team and site.

Experience & Qualifications

• Degree / HND / HNC in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services, preferred although not essential
• Design experience in mechanical building design systems.
• Confident user of a range of design software.
• An enthusiasm for continued learning and development
