Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMicroHealth is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mid-Level Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have strong Java programming skills and be proficient in developing applications using Spring Boot. Familiarity with JavaScript is a plus. The candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions and integrating them with various systems.
*This is a remote position.
Essential Functions
Develop and maintain Java-based applications and services using the Spring Boot framework
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Java and Spring Boot
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions
Integrate applications with other systems and services
Troubleshoot and debug applications as needed
Required Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of Java Development experience
Strong knowledge of Java 17+ Features
Experience with Spring Framework. Understanding of the Spring Boot framework
Strong proficiency in Java programming language
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
Candidate must be eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance to support this contract.
Version control (Git) experience
Participate in code reviews and testing
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
Other Qualifications:
Familiarity with JavaScript for front-end development (optional)
Health plan or healthcare experience preferred
Hands-on experience with the Spring Boot framework for developing Java applications
Experience with Agile Methodologies
Understanding of software development best practices and design patterns
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Salary Range:
$100,000-$115,000

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee may lift or move objects up to 5 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
