Java Developer (x2 Positions)



Location:

Fully Remote (Occasional Visits to Leeds Office)



Salary:

Up to £55,000 per annum



About the Role:

We are looking for two talented Java Developers to join our dynamic team! This is a fantastic opportunity for developers who are passionate about crafting robust, scalable, and innovative solutions. You'll work on exciting projects, designing and implementing APIs, microservices, and applications using Spring Boot and other cutting-edge technologies.

Although the role is fully remote, occasional visits to our Leeds office may be required for team collaboration and project updates.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern development practices.
  • Build and optimize APIs and microservices to ensure high performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.


About You:

  • Strong experience in Java development.
  • Proficient in API design and development.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
  • Expertise in Spring Boot framework.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Based in Yorkshire or able to travel to Leeds for occasional in-person meetings.
