Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer with 10+ years of experience in software coding and architecture. This is a contract position, offering remote work flexibility. The ideal candidate must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident authorized to work for any U.S. employer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and maintain embedded software systems, ensuring efficient and scalable architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
• Write, modify, and debug embedded software code, ensuring high-performance systems.
• Integrate hardware and software systems, optimizing for functionality and performance.
• Perform code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal software performance and reliability.
• Provide technical support and documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in embedded software development, including hands-on coding and system architecture.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or similar for embedded systems.
• Strong experience in real-time operating systems (RTOS) and hardware-software integration.
• Solid understanding of micro controllers, processors, and embedded systems design.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, meeting deadlines and collaborating with team members virtually.
• U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder), authorized to work for any U.S. employer.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
• Previous experience with IoT or automotive embedded systems is a plus.
