Job Title: Mid-Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Contract/Remote) Location: Remote Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer with 10+ years of experience in software coding and architecture. This is a contract position offering remote work flexibility. The ideal candidate must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident authorized to work for any U.S. employer. Must-Have Qualifications: Mid-level experience (10+ years) in embedded software engineering, including hands-on coding and architecture. U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) authorized to work for any U.S. employer. Experience with Aurix devices (likely TC3xx) in typical automotive applications. Proficiency in using Lauterbach debugger for embedded systems. Experience working on secure bootloader and/or Hardware Security Module (HSM) already in place and previously developed. Strong understanding of embedded systems design, including real-time operating systems (RTOS), microcontrollers, and processors. Solid expertise in programming languages such as C, C++, or similar for embedded systems. Key Responsibilities: Develop, design, and maintain embedded software systems, ensuring efficient and scalable architecture. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications. Write, modify, and debug embedded software code, ensuring high-performance systems. Integrate hardware and software systems, optimizing for functionality and performance. Perform code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal software performance and reliability. Provide technical support and documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
