The ideal candidate will develop, maintain, and optimize mobile applications, ensuring seamless and engaging user experiences. They will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to create innovative features that align with healthcare regulations and deliver real value to users. The Role In this role, you will be contributing to the development and maintenance of our mobile application. You will work on both iOS and Android platforms, implementing new features, improving user experience, and ensuring the performance and reliability of our mobile apps. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in mobile development, be familiar with modern mobile frameworks, and have a keen eye for user-centric design. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms Collaborate with team and contractors to implement user-friendly interfaces Familiarity with mobile design patterns and guidelines Integrate mobile applications with backend services and APIs Optimize application performance and responsiveness Implement and maintain security measures to ensure HIPAA compliance Participate in code reviews and adhere to the team's coding standards Stay updated on mobile development trends and best practices Handle production issues swiftly by analyzing logs and implementing fixes or patches Ensure smooth performance across devices, with minimal crashes or slowdowns Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in mobile app development Passion for healthcare and patient engagement Proficiency in Swift for iOS and/or Kotlin for Android Experience with mobile app architecture and design patterns Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) Knowledge of mobile app performance optimization techniques Basic understanding of mobile app security best practices Willing to handle production issues, user feedback, and iterate on solutions quickly Awareness of and adherence to project / company timelines and milestones Preference for: Experience with cross-platform development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter) Familiarity with healthcare-related mobile applications Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements for mobile apps Comfort working with Large Language Models and other AI technologies Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployment Familiarity with Agile development methodologies Experience in a fast-paced, early-stage healthcare startup environment Benefits We offer competitive salaries, a generous equity plan, unlimited PTO, federally recognized holidays, and more.
