Responsibilities: Build and Optimize: Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Proof's mobile applications using React Native, ensuring a smooth, responsive user experience. Collaborate Effectively: Partner with backend engineers to optimize API interactions with a focus on mobile performance and security. Enhance Architecture: Assist in improving mobile app architecture while addressing performance bottlenecks and platform-specific challenges. Deliver Impact: Work with Product and Design teams to deliver features and mobile optimizations in an agile development environment. Promote Excellence: Participate in code reviews, encourage best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Stay Current: Keep up with mobile development trends and suggest improvements to the platform. Qualifications: Experience: 3+ years in mobile development, including 1-2 years of hands-on React Native experience building and deploying apps for iOS and Android. Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. Understanding of mobile architecture and platform requirements. Experience with RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus. Knowledge of mobile CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and experience working in agile teams. Self-motivated, problem-solver, and eager to learn and grow. Nice to Have: Familiarity with Expo Application Services (EAS). What We Offer: Remote Flexibility: Full-time, remote role based in Canada.
