AVA Consulting is seeking a MuleSoft Developer

Location: Remote - US (Must be able to work in the EST or CST time zones)

Job Description:

• Follows company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs.
• Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents.
• Reviews functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provides feedback.
• Participates in architecture, design and code reviews.
• Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation.

Required Skills:

• Experience developing with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, designing and developing MuleSoft APIs and integrations for enterprise systems, deploying MuleSoft applications to production environments, and writing scripts to manage/move/schedule files in accordance with MuleSoft integration.
• Minimum 5 or more years of experience working in a medium or large operating environment supporting MuleSoft.
• Minimum 4 years of SQL experience (ability to develop, modify, troubleshoot, and optimize complex queries and stored procedures).
• Deep understanding of relational/dimensional data modeling and data mapping design, integration, migration, and warehousing.
• Design and implementation of integration solutions with effective design and optimized performance, integration development with industry-standard recommendations for job recovery, failover, logging, and alerting mechanisms.

Preferred Skills:

• Development background with Java, J2EE, database building, SQL scripting, and management: DB2, SQL, PL/SQL, JDBC, mapping, and workflow tools.
• Experience in the banking and insurance industry.
