RESPONSIBILITIES
Design OCI network and security components to support complex architectures
Deploy and migrate workloads to OCI
Conduct regular security scans of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments to identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and potential threats
Develop and Maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or OCI Resource Manager to automate cloud provisioning and configuration management
Deploy infrastructure using the available DevSecOps tool to secure enclaves, and troubleshoot any deployment errors
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to OCI services, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance to ensure high availability and resilience
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure design, processes, and best practices
Implement and maintain robust security measures, including IAM policies, network security, and data protection strategies in OCI
Update Knowledge base and Standard Operating Procedures
Provide technical assistance and training to users
Share (rotational) duties to support solutions across multiple data impact level classifications
Leverage Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) to ensure compliance and vulnerability management within the OCI environment
REQUIREMENTS
Proficiency in using monitoring tools like OCI Monitoring, Logging, and Oracle Management Cloud to track and optimize the performance of cloud resources
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like terraform, Ansible, or OCI Resource Manager
Experience with scripting language such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gitlab, or Oracle Developer Cloud Service
Ability to integrate OCI with DevOps pipelines for continuous delivery and automated deployments
Understanding of security best practices in a cloud environment
In-depth understanding of, and experience as a cloud engineer with OCI experience
Experience preparing technical documentation including design, asset inventory, and diagrams
Ability to interact with high level customers and collaborate, design, plan, and implement the proposed solution of project planning
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
