Job Title: Junior DevOps Engineer & Web Application Developer 3GIMBALS seeks an innovative DevOps Engineer and Web Application Developer skilled in cloud services, web application development, and automation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud infrastructure management, expertise in building ETL pipelines, and proficiency in developing and deploying scalable web applications using Django, Node.js, or comparable frameworks. Key Responsibilities: • Cloud Infrastructure & Automation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage cloud infrastructure and improve workflow automation using CI/CD pipelines, enhancing efficiency, quality, and system resilience. • Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy web applications, primarily using Django and Node.js, that are scalable, secure, and tailored to client needs. • ETL & Data Processing Pipelines: Develop ETL pipelines that gather, transform, and enrich data across multiple platforms, ensuring data reliability and accessibility for analytics and reporting. • Collaboration with Data & Intelligence Analysts: Work closely with OSINT and GEOINT analysts to operationalize tools, enhance workflows, and ensure smooth data access, visualization, and analysis. • System Monitoring & Security: Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to maintain operational integrity and data security, with a strong focus on compliance and best practices. • Continual Improvement & Innovation: Keep abreast of emerging trends in DevOps, application development, and cloud technologies to improve existing tools and processes. Essential Skills & Qualifications: • Cloud Platform Expertise: Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP, with hands-on experience in services such as EC2, S3, Kubernetes, and Cloud IAM. • DevOps Tools & Automation Frameworks: Experience with CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD), infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef). • Web Application Development: Proven experience building and deploying applications with Django, Node.js, or similar frameworks; familiarity with JavaScript and front-end frameworks is a plus. • Data Pipelines & Databases: Expertise in ETL pipeline development; knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Neo4j is strongly preferred. • Scripting & Coding: Proficiency in Python and JavaScript; experience with automation scripting (Bash) is a plus. • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Skilled in system monitoring with tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK Stack, with a strong commitment to system uptime and reliability. • Clear Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to convey technical information to technical and non-technical audiences alike. Desired Qualifications: • Advanced Degrees or Certifications: Graduate degree in a relevant technical field or certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Google Professional DevOps Engineer. • Clearance: TS//SCI eligibility is preferred. • Machine Learning Familiarity: Knowledge of ML/AI techniques and frameworks, especially in DevOps and data engineering contexts.
